United Way will use your IP address along with all other users’ IP addresses to track usage patterns and improve our web site. At no time is your IP address linked with anything that personally identifies the owner of the IP address.

Other information tracked: When you any function on the site that requires a form, United Way may track personal information, internally, that you provide in our secure database of community supporters.

What happens to the information gathered: United Way tracks generic web user traffic patterns, to improve the effectiveness of our website and online tools. Donor information, may be used to associate your donation with a particular fundraising campaign, and/or to thank individual donors for their gift(s).

Community supporters database: United Way retains information provided by users in a secure database. This database of information may be used to verify donations transactions, thank supporters for their contributions, keep supporters informed or to solicit future donations. United Way understands that most people do not want a lot of mail or e-mail, so we keep our communication frequency within reasonable limits. You may be removed from our database at your request.  The information in this database is not shared, traded, sold or rented to any third parties without your consent.

Tracking information: United Way will never share macro-level tracking information with third parties for any reason..

United Way’s opt-out policy: If at any time you would like to discontinue your relationship or part of your relationship with United Way, simply contact our office to be removed from our database.

Correcting your personal information: If at any time you believe the information collected by United Way is incorrect or inappropriate, simply contact us to have your information changed.
