WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center and the United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley are celebrating its community partnership and the 2022 fundraising efforts by the hospital.

Camden Clark through employee contributions and a pledge to match employee gifts has given $24,050 to the United Way Alliance.

The hospital launched the 2022 United Way Workplace Campaign in November and continued it through December. Employees supported local communities through pledges and fundraisers.

“The United Way is a vital resource for health, education and financial stability to many residents of the Mid-Ohio Valley,” Steve Altmiller, Camden Clark president and CEO, said.

“I am humbled by the efforts of our employees to come together during the season of giving to help our neighbors in need,” Altmiller said. “We look forward to continuing to this partnership in 2023 to support the efforts and impacts the United Way provides throughout our communities.”

The United Way is “so thankful for the partnership with WVU Medicine Camden Clark,” Stacy DeCicco, United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley Executive Director, said.

“The employee giving campaign and the generous match by the hospital is yet one more example of the success and value of this partnership in our community,” DeCicco said. “The team at Camden Clark is a constant source of productive collaboration and intentional impact. We are humbled that their employees chose to give so generously through this year’s workplace campaign and that the hospital is matching those efforts to create an even bigger footprint of impact. Our United Way remains strong because of amazing community partnerships just like the one with WVU Medicine Camden Clark.”

Camden Clark Medical Center is a 302-bed hospital serving an 11-county region in West Virginia and Southeastern Ohio.
