Laugh United

Join us April 22nd for United Way Alliance's

Second Annual Signature Event

Laugh United: A night of cocktails and comedy will once again bring the community together to celebrate the 2016-2017 United Way campaign and raise awareness of the work that United Way and its partners are doing in the community.

The comedy portion of the show will feature one of the most popular touring comics in America, Gary Gulman. Gulman is best known for his appearances on Conan, Inside Amy Shumer, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Audiences may also remember him as a finalist in the second season of NBC's Last Comic Standing.

Originally from Boston, Gulman has been a college football player, a doorman, a barista, an accountant, and a high school teacher. Gary Gulman is one of only a handful of comedians to perform on every single late night comedy program.  He is selling out comedy venues all over the country and we are so excited to welcome him to our Laugh United 2017 event.

The show will begin with musical guest, David Berkeley. Berkeley has amassed a dedicated and widespread following that fully funded the creation of his new album and book. He’s been a guest on This American Life, Mountain Stage, World Café, CNN, XM Radio’s Loft Sessions, WFUV, NPR’s Acoustic Café and many more. Berkeley has been called “a musical poet” by the San Francisco Chronicle, “sensational” by the Philadelphia Inquirer and “spellbinding” by Blurt.
